The main structure of Tongzhou Branch of Children's Hospital Affiliated to Capital Institute of Pediatrics (hereinafter referred to as "SHOUER Tongzhou Branch") was successfully capped recently, marking a new stage of construction for the project.
After the completion of SHOUER Tongzhou Branch, a public experimental platform for large-scale scientific research instruments, an experimental animal center, a genetic resource sample library, and five children's related disease research centers will be established, including the Children's Rare Disease Research Center, the Research Center for Congenital Developmental Diseases of the Digestive System, the Research Center for Structural Abnormalities in Birth Defects, the Children's Development and Nutriomics Research Center, and the Infection Pathogen Research Center. Moreover, we will continue to make efforts in multiple medical fields such as diagnosis and treatment of difficult and critical illnesses, clinical research, disease prevention and control, medical talent cultivation, and hospital management, balance the layout of high-quality medical resources, make up the shortcomings of public health services, alleviate the shortage of pediatric medical resources, and fully demonstrate the radiation and driving role and brand influence of SHOUER.

SHOUER Tongzhou Branch is located in Songzhuang Town, Tongzhou District, Beijing, with a total construction area of 186,400 square meters, expected to offer 800 beds according to the plan, covering 30 clinical departments and 6 medical technology departments. SHOUER Tongzhou Branch will be completed in 2026 and officially put into use in 2027.

The capping of the main structure has laid a solid foundation for the subsequent construction of the project.
