Forge a High-quality World-class Tourist Destination! Dingdian Park and Haichang Ocean Park Expected to Open Next Year

The BMC will promote the planning of Phases II and III of Universal Beijing Resort project, speed up the construction of projects such as Dingdian Park and Haichang Ocean Park, and promote the opening of the "Wanli" commercial project, energetically creating a high-quality world-class tourist destination this year.

Just one street away from the Universal Beijing Resort, the "Wanli" super commercial entertainment complex highly anticipated by citizens will be opened in the second half of 2025. The "Wanli" project covers three major sectors, namely, WellTown, Nous Land Hotel, and Tingyun Town. It is planned to introduce a large number of international renowned brands and first stores to undertake the spillover effect of Universal Beijing Resort, expected to receive 40,000 visitors per day, adding new consumption vitality to the BMC's cultural and tourism area.

Welltown will become Beijing's largest outlet commercial center after its opening. It is planned to introduce more than 500 domestic and foreign renowned brands, with experience formats such as culture & art, sports & entertainment, and children's playground accounting for 50%, and the proportion of brands entering the BMC for the first time reaching more than 60%.

As a high-end resort hotel, Nous Land Hotel will provide more than 300 high-quality guest rooms. In addition to an infinity pool, guests can also enjoy the light show of Universal Beijing Resort completely in the rooms.

Tingyun Town includes a commercial street, a city without darkness, a featured hotel cluster, and Tingyun Park, and it is planned to introduce new experiential cultural tourism formats such as Beijing's first China national geographic exploration center, Live House, Tangquan Center, French Little Prince Theme Park, and URIDE Skateboarding Park, and comprehensively make innovation in cultural tourism scenarios such as business, homestay, music, art, and technology, forging a micro-resort in the eastern region of Beijing.

Driven by the strong influence of Universal Beijing Resort's IP, the BMC's cultural and tourism area has been chosen to gather and develop more cultural and tourism industry projects of great significance, including projects such as Dingdian Park and Haichang Ocean Park. Beijing Haichang Ocean Park project is the only large-scale ocean theme park to be newly built in Beijing after 2000. It will be developed into a marine ecological experience and entertainment center that integrates a lot of functions such as ecology, science popularization, 'research-based learning, interaction, performance, art, and characteristic catering. As an international theme indoor amusement park complex, Dingdian Park gathers Peppa Pig Indoor Ice and Snow World, Barbie Doll Entertainment Area, Snoopy and Teletubbies Experience Area, etc. The two projects will be completed and opened in 2026.

With the signing of a contract between Italian company IIF S.R.L and Chinese partner Beijing Tian Yuan Law Firm, the BMC's cultural and tourism area successfully introduced another international cooperation cultural and tourism project in November 2024, with an expected total investment of 5 billion yuan, with a view to creating an Italian cultural experience and innovation complex project combining speed and passion. In addition, contracts have been successfully signed for implementation of the Ledongli Sports Park and the Flying to Sagittarius Tent Camp projects, and cooperation agreements have been reached between the "Wanli" commercial entertainment complex and well-known brands such as ANTA, Sanke Yinghua, and Xinghuatang. The entry of numerous high-quality projects and brands will provide tourists with more distinctive cultural and tourism products and diversified consumer choices.
