On April 25, more than 100 international media practitioners, government officials, and corporate managers visited the Beijing Tongzhou Integrated Media Center to learn about the media development achievements of the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center (BMC). The visit was part of foreign-aid training programs, including the "Seminar on Mid-to-Senior Level Technical Management in Broadcasting for Developing Countries", the "Training Program on Digital Media Technology for Public and Private Mainstream Media in Burundi", and the "Seminar for Young Journalist Leaders from Belt and Road Countries". These programs were organized by China's Ministry of Commerce and co-hosted by the Academy for International Business Officials (AIBO) and China Wide International Communications.

The participants toured facilities such as the broadcasting control room, multimedia studio, radio live broadcast room, BMC reception hall, international communication studio, TV production area, and the central newsroom. They experienced live broadcasting and recording equipment firsthand and observed the media asset management system, gaining insights into the news production, editing, review, and distribution processes, as well as the achievements in multi-platform integration. In the fifth-floor press conference hall, they watched videos produced by the center, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the BMC's media development best practices and convergence media case models.

Pan Minghua from China Wide International Communications’ consulting department explained that the foreign-aid training programs aim to promote international exchanges. The three delegations, comprising participants from over 20 countries, had previously visited media facilities in Sichuan and other regions. "After touring from the first and second floors to the fifth floor, I found the Beijing Tongzhou Integrated Media Center to be very well-planned, with highly professional technical equipment and innovative measures. Its application of cutting-edge technologies like AI is at the forefront, even comparable to many municipal and provincial-level media", Pan remarked.
Egyptian journalist Abdulaziz Mohammed was excited throughout the visit, taking photos and conducting interviews. "Everyone was impressed by the advanced equipment and excellent environment. Although this trip didn’t cover all of China, every place we visited left a deep impression", he said.
A Nigerian corporate representative shared that it was their first time in China and Beijing's Tongzhou District. "The climate is pleasant, and the people are very friendly—I really like it here. Today's visit was astounding. There are so many young journalists, a long-standing history, and state-of-the-art equipment. I hope to work in such an environment in the future", he added.
