From April 25 to 27, the 2025 China Equestrian Endurance Tour (Beijing Leg) was successfully held in Huoxian Town, Tongzhou District. The event attracted 238 riders from across the country and abroad, offering a spectacular equestrian visual feast.
The competition featured three race formats: a 40 km qualification race, an 80 km qualification race, and a 100 km tour race. Riders came from 24 provinces and cities across China, along with two international riders, competing fiercely for honor.
The 2025 China Equestrian Endurance Tour is a dialogue between civilizations spanning millennia. As modern riders galloped along the racecourse beside the Yanfangdian Ruins in Huoxian, echoes of history intertwined with the passion of competition on land once home to the Liao and Jin royal Nabo culture and the Yuan Dynasty's epic "Guyou Red" endurance races. This painted a vivid scroll of "sports as the brush, history as the ink."
Riders galloped through expansive forests, canal tributaries, and pastoral villages, testing their riding skills and endurance while enjoying the picturesque scenery: "the wetland's reflection of horses, spring breezes brushing against traveling garments." Many participants praised it as the most beautiful and comfortable course they had ever ridden.
During the preparation and execution of the event, local government and the organizing committee established a comprehensive and meticulous service system. Before the race, horse inspection and quarantine were conducted strictly in accordance with international standards. Veterinary stations and supply points were reasonably arranged along the course, with a professional veterinary team ensuring the health of both riders and horses. In addition, relevant departments deployed medical and security personnel to build a strong safety shield for the smooth operation of the event.
Thanks to the full support of various departments in Tongzhou, the event concluded successfully.
