On April 25, the "Pelliot" 2025 Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology (BIFT) Undergraduate Graduation Exhibition opened at the permanent venue of Beijing International Design Week and will run through May 25 (9:00–17:00).
This year's exhibition includes participation from six secondary colleges—School of Fashion Art and Engineering, School of Accessory Art and Engineering, School of Materials Design and Engineering, School of Art and Design, School of Fashion Communication, and School of Fine Arts—featuring 1,027 undergraduate graduates and more than 5,000 works, covering an exhibition area of over 4,000 square meters. It showcases the professional competence, innovation, and exploration spirit of BIFT students. As a key practice in the university's mission of nurturing aesthetics in the new era, this exhibition not only serves as a comprehensive evaluation of the integration of art and engineering education outcomes, but also vividly reflects the fundamental task of moral education. It provides a broad platform for interdisciplinary exchange and learning among students.
This year's graduation exhibition is themed "Singing in Step". The theme originates from a profound response to music and nature, history and the future. "Singing in Step" is a melody that transcends time and space—it exists in the sway of grass, the silence of rocks, and the echoes of magnificent architecture. Whether in the proximity of everyday life or the remoteness of the unknown, it dances and harmonizes through action and creation. The works in this exhibition cross the boundaries of art and technology, tradition and future, virtual and reality. Rooted in fashion’s cutting edge, they explore innovation and fully display the school's outstanding achievements in fashion education and its commitment to cultivating high-quality, creative design talents.
