The Beijing Municipal Administrative Center (BMC) is set to unveil its first water-land micro-resort complex. Featuring a thrilling rainbow-themed slide and an indoor surfing facility, this indoor complex, together with Universal Beijing Resort and the Grand Canal Forest Park, forms a 15-minute golden triangle and creates a recreational setting for water and land-focused micro-vacation area, offering rich services such as themed celebrations, canal exploration and hydrotherapy.
Recently, the Sunshine Rainbow Bay - Water World, located in Xiji Town in the eastern part of BMC, has completed its internal on-site testing.
Spanning 12,000 square meters, Beijing's first "storm hydrotherapy" has become the centerpiece, which boasts a 360-degree audiovisual and lighting system simulating thunderstorms, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in smart temperature-controlled massage pools while experiencing the contrasting interplay of torrential downpours and water massage.
The nearly 100-meter-long Extreme Speed Rainbow Slide, seamlessly traversing indoor and outdoor spaces, integrates light aesthetics with high-speed thrills. Meanwhile, this first indoor surfing facility of Tongzhou District allows its residents to experience the excitement of indoor surfing without traveling far.
More than just a water park, this venue serves as a pivotal part of BMC's micro-vacation network. The nearby attractions and projects, such as Universal Beijing Resort (14 kilometers away), the Grand Canal's boat tours (10 kilometers away) and the cherry-picking activities in Xiji (3 kilometers away), are all within a 20-minute drive, enabling visitors to effortlessly plan a three-day, two-night weekend family getaway without the fatigue of extensive travel.
