Science Film Festival Opens at Beijing Library Film Screenings and Science Activities to Run for 75 Days

Recently, the opening ceremony of the “Films Light the Future, Childhood Blooms in Summer” 4D Science Film Festival was held at the Beijing Library. Leaders from various sectors and representatives of science-loving students and teachers jointly inaugurated this spectacular feast of knowledge themed around “4D Science Popularization.” The festival aims to ignite young people’s passion for scientific exploration by combining cutting-edge technology with popular science content. Over the next 75 days, the festival will feature a series of 4D film screenings and science-themed activities, bringing a vibrant touch of science to the summer vacation.
Following the opening ceremony, participating students and teachers toured the Beijing Library and experienced a 4D science film in the children’s cinema. With vivid audiovisual effects and interactive technology, the audience was transported into the ancient world of dinosaurs, deepening their understanding and interest in scientific knowledge.
The 75-day 4D Science Film Festival will be held in the Children’s Library of the Beijing Library. A total of six 4D films will be screened. From July 5 to August 2, screenings will take place Tuesday through Sunday, featuring Brave Minmi: The Chinese Dinosaur and A Marvelous Geological Journey. From August 3 to August 31, Exploring the Chinese Space Station and Battle Against the Bacteria will be shown (Tuesday through Sunday). From September 2 to September 30, the schedule includes The Cambrian Explosion and The Black-Feathered Elf (Tuesday through Sunday). The “Films Light the Future, Childhood Blooms in Summer” 4D Science Film Festival at the Capital Library of China also looks forward to welcoming more young readers to join this immersive scientific adventure.
