According to a notice issued by the General Office of the State Council on 2026 public holiday arrangements (关于2026年部分节假日安排的通知), the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday will run from Friday, September 25, to Sunday, September 27, for a three-day break with no shifted workdays.

The National Day holiday will follow soon after it, running from October 1 to 7 for a seven-day break. September 20 and October 10 will be shifted as working days.

Reminder

Expressway tolls will apply during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday. During the National Day holiday, however, passenger vehicles with seven seats or less can travel toll-free on expressways.
