Main responsibilities of the Sub-district Party Working Committee:
(1) Resolutely uphold the Party Central Committee's authority and centralized unified leadership with President Xi Jinping as the core, resolutely implement the Party Central Committee's decision deployment and the decisions of Beijing Committee of the Communist Party of China and the District Committee, lead the work and grassroots social governance in the jurisdiction, support and ensure that administrative organizations, economic organizations, and mass autonomous organizations fully exercise their powers, discuss and decide on important matters in the jurisdiction, and plan as a whole and promote the construction of civilized streets, vibrant streets, livable streets, and safe streets;
Main responsibilities of sub-district offices:
(1) Organize to implement the public services closely related to resident life within the jurisdiction, and enforce relevant laws, regulations and policies in the fields of health, elderly care and disabled assistance, social assistance, housing security, employment and entrepreneurship, culture and education, sports, legal services, etc.;

(2) Prioritize the political construction of the Party, elevate its political position, highlight its political attributes, strengthen its political leadership, enhance its political capabilities, always maintain a high degree of consistency with the Party Central Committee in terms of political stand, direction, principles, and path, and maintain a good political ecology;
(3) Strengthen theoretical arms, learn to understand and implement socialist thought with Chinese characteristics in the new era of President Xi Jinping, guide party members and cadres to strengthen their ideals and beliefs, and implement the responsibility system for ideological work;
(4) Carry out the Party's organizational line in the new era, adhere to the democratic centralism, implement the principle that the Party manages cadres and talents, strengthen the construction of a high-quality professional cadre team that is loyal, clean and responsible, reinforce the construction of the Party's grassroots organizations and party member teams, focus on improving the Party's activities and the quality of the Party's organizational life, and do a good job in talent work;
(5) Strengthen and improve the style of work, implement the spirit of the eight regulations of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and the implementation measures of Beijing Committee of the Communist Party of China, continuously rectify formalism, bureaucratism, hedonism, and extravagance, especially formalism and bureaucratism, and oppose privileged thoughts and privileged phenomena;
(6) Strengthen the Party's discipline construction, fulfill the main responsibility of constructing the Party conduct and of an honest and clean government, support the discipline inspection and supervision institutions to fulfill their supervisory responsibilities, and promote the whole process of "Don't dare to be corrupt, can't be corrupt, and don't want to be corrupt";
(7) Take the lead to observe the laws and regulations within the Party, strictly implement the responsibility system for the implementation of laws and regulations within the Party, establish and improve the party building work system in this sub-district, and continuously boost the institutional execution capability;
(8) Strengthen the leadership of the united front work and mass organization work, give support and ensure that they perform their duties in accordance with laws and regulations and their respective constitution;
(9) Organize and maintain the security and stability of the jurisdiction, coordinate and promote the comprehensive management of social security, and implement the responsibility system for the work of handling petitions via letters and visits;
(10) Report the related situation to the District Committee, reflect the problems, and put forward opinions and suggestions.
Main responsibilities of sub-district offices:
(1) Organize to implement the public services closely related to resident life within the jurisdiction, and enforce relevant laws, regulations and policies in the fields of health, elderly care and disabled assistance, social assistance, housing security, employment and entrepreneurship, culture and education, sports, legal services, etc.;
(2) Organize to implement urban management work such as environmental protection, order management, block renewal, property management supervision, and emergency management within the jurisdiction, and create a sound development environment in the jurisdiction;
(3) Organize to implement the work of safe construction in the jurisdiction, prevent, investigate, and resolve contradictions and disputes, and maintain social harmony and stability;
(4) Organize and mobilize units and various social organizations in the jurisdiction to participate in grassroots governance, coordinate resources in the jurisdiction, and realize co-construction, co-governance and sharing;
(5) Promote community development and construction, guide the work of residents' committees, support and promote residents' autonomy according to law, improve community service functions, and boost the level of community governance;
(6) Do a good job in national defense education and military service;
(7) Undertake other duties stipulated by laws, regulations, and rules, and decisions and orders made by the municipal and district people's governments.
