Tongzhou District Medical Insurance Bureau
(1) Implement the laws, regulations, and policy provisions of the state and Beijing Municipality on medical insurance, maternity insurance, medical assistance, and other medical security systems, formulate medical security plans and work plans for the District, and organize the implementation thereof.
(2) Be responsible for the budget, management, and disbursement work of the medical security fund in the District.
(3) Implement the funding and treatment policies for medical security in Beijing Municipality. Implement the free medical treatment policy of Beijing Municipality. Be responsible for the overall planning work of medical expenses for retired cadres in the District. Implement the reform plan for the long-term care insurance system of Beijing Municipality.
(4) Implement the medical insurance catalog, payment standards, and related charging policies of Beijing Municipality for drugs, medical consumables, medical service items, medical service facilities, etc.
(5) Implement policies of Beijing Municipality on the pricing of drugs, medical consumables, medical service items, fees for medical service facilities, etc.
(6) Implement the bidding and procurement policies of Beijing Municipality for drugs and medical consumables.
(7) Manage the agreement on designated medical institutions in the District, implement the medical security credit evaluation system and information disclosure system, supervise and manage the medical service behaviors and medical expenses covered by the scope of medical insurance, and lawfully investigate and punish illegal and irregular behaviors in the field of medical security.
(8) Be responsible for the medical security administration, and public service system and information construction in the District. Implement the policies of Beijing Municipality on non-local medical treatment management and expense settlement. Implement the policy of Beijing Municipality on transferring and continuing medical security relationships.
(9) Fulfill other tasks assigned by the District Committee and District Government.
