A Hundred Acres of Farm, Creating a “Living Classroom” for TCM
·Medicinal Herb Planting Experience Zone
Students personally plant medicinal herbs, witness the growth of life, and experience the philosophy that “every herb and tree is a form of learning.”
·Agriculture and TCM Culture Education Zone
Through images, texts, and physical displays, this area narrates the history of medicinal herbs and the wisdom of food and medicine being of the same origin, making knowledge tangible.
·Food Education Classroom
Combining everyday ingredients, this classroom conveys the “food and medicine share the same origin” concept and helps cultivate healthy eating habits.
·Cultural and Creative Scenic Zones
Zones such as “Time Zone” and “Diligence Zone” subtly immerse students in cultural enlightenment as they stroll through nature.
The farm offers over 20 different courses across seven key sections, effectively blending education and enjoyment, allowing children to learn while playing.
·Greenhouse Planting Practice
In the greenhouse planting and exhibition zone, students can engage in hands-on learning, closely observing various medicinal herbs to deepen their understanding of the shape and characteristics of the plants.
·Handcraft Cultural Experience
The farm will introduce cultural and creative handcraft activities, such as medicinal herb stamps and “Siwu Soup” (Four Ingredients Soup) postcards, allowing students to gain a deeper understanding of TCM culture while engaging in hands-on crafting—bringing the culture with them.
·Themed Activities
The farm also regularly hosts themed events such as Agricultural Safety Science Education, Agriculture and Culture Festival, and more, offering immersive experiences that further enhance students’ understanding and appreciation of traditional Chinese culture.
Farm officials have stated that they will continue to optimize courses and activities, enriching the educational resources, and providing more opportunities for students to encounter, learn, and fall in love with TCM culture. They strive to become the forefront in passing down and promoting TCM culture, helping traditional Chinese culture shine in the new era.
