"Wanli", a micro resort complex in the cultural tourism area of the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center (BMC), is scheduled to open by the end of this year.
The complex comprises three major components: Wangfujing WellTown, Tingyun Town, and Nous Land Hotel.
Wangfujing WellTown, anticipated to be the largest outlet mall in North China, has secured over 90 percent of its tenants. The entire mall is set to open by year-end. Inside the mall's atrium, a 35-meter-high water curtain installation is being constructed, which will create a "waterfall" cascading from the sixth-floor rooftop.
Tingyun Town has been planned with three sections: a commercial block in the north, a residential area in the south, and the Volcano Park. It will feature cultural and tourism businesses marked by novel experiences, such as Beijing's first China National Geographic Exploration Center, a park featuring the elements of The Little Prince (a French novella), and the URIDE Skate Park. The popular comedy brand Mahua FunAge (a film and stage play production company) will also establish its presence here.
Nous Land Hotel is a luxurious, artistic resort hotel affiliated with BTG Hotels, with 329 guest rooms. Its design is inspired by the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. The white façade, arched floor-to-ceiling windows, and Roman columns in the lobby all exude elegance.
"Wanli" enjoys exceptional transportation access, with three rail lines (Line 1/Batong Line, Line 7, and the planned Line S6 of Beijing Subway) to converge here. Universal Studios Beijing is just one subway station away from the complex. The planned Line S6 will connect the complex to the Daxing Airport and the Capital Airport, while the Beijing Sub-Center Railway Station nearby ensures convenient access for travelers from across the whole Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
