Extended to 10 PM! Universal Beijing Resort Launches New Night Experiences Starting September 5

From September 5 to November 2, Universal Beijing Resort will unveil its refreshed “Scares @Universal” event. During the evening experience period, Universal Studios Beijing will extend its operating hours until 10 PM.
During the event, Universal Studios Beijing will debut an exclusive limited-time performance. The 2025 Scares @Universal will feature the explosive breakout star Emo Tu and the newly acclaimed Foxy Lady performing together for the very first time. Joining them as a special guest is Hamikuma, a fan-favorite from the Universal family, presenting a grand Hamikuma Halloween Party for guests.
It is reported that four Haunted Mazes and two Scare Zones will make a joint appearance. Two brand-new Haunted Mazes will make their thrilling debut. Among them, Universal Monsters Crypt featuring original characters from numerous classic films distributed by Universal Pictures, will be unveiled at Universal Beijing Resort for the very first time, delivering blockbuster-level multisensory impact. The eerie and mysterious House of Hua Pi will open for a limited time, while Jack’s Circus and House No.81 will also make a comeback.
During the 2025 Scares @Universal, themed shows, Haunted Mazes, and other night experiences will be available on a limited schedule every Thursday through Monday (closed on September 18 and October 2, but additionally open on September 16, September 30, and October 29). From September 1 to November 7, the Universal on Parade will be suspended.
The four Haunted Mazes will operate from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM (queue entry cutoff) on designated Scares @Universal nights. No online reservations or separate tickets are required—entry will be on-site via queue. Related Express Pass products will go on sale on August 23. The Hamikuma Hallow-Palooza schedule will be dynamically adjusted according to each day’s sunset time during the Scares @Universal night experiences.
Between September 5 and November 2, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Beijing Resort will, for the very first time, introduce the immersive Death Eaters: Takeover Experience. This brand-new multisensory, cinematic-level event will transport guests into the heart of Hogsmeade Village under siege by Death Eaters. Meanwhile, Universal Beijing Resort will also launch exclusive Death Eater–themed merchandise.
During the event, both the Universal Studios Grand Hotel and NUO Resort Hotel will offer upgraded entertainment packages. In addition, Universal CityWalk Beijing will launch exclusive themed dining experiences and face-painting services, amplifying the Scares @Universal atmosphere.
