At the 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), BMC is making a spectacular debut with unprecedented innovation, showcasing the unique charm of “Technology + Culture.”

Majuqiao “Mega Refrigerator” Unlocks Smart Supply Guarantee

“This is the Southeast Smart Logistics Port in Majuqiao, Tongzhou—the largest cold-chain logistics park in Beijing!” As soon as the commentator’s voice fell at the Shougang Park Hall 13 Supply Chain and Business Services Pavilion, in the  Beijing Capital Highway Development Group Co., Ltd.’s “Quality Goods Entering Beijing” exhibition area, a crowd of curious visitors quickly gathered around the model display.

Nicknamed the “Mega Refrigerator,” the logistics port covers a total of 300 mu, with a planned building area of 350,000 square meters upon full completion. “Look at this ingenious ‘three-ground-floor’ design—the underground level, ground floor, and second aboveground level all allow trucks from the East Sixth Ring Road to directly enter and load or unload, without needing to enter the city. Efficiency is twice that of a traditional warehouse!” The commentator pointed to the ramp structure on the model, adding that in the future, the facility will also link with the Majia Bridge Service Area to create a “front store, back warehouse” model—allowing visitors to purchase fresh ingredients straight from cold storage at the service area.

“The ultra-low temperature storage at minus 60 degrees Celsius can keep Spanish bluefin tuna and Australian wagyu beef fresh for several months!” said Wang Xue, Strategic Director of Beijing Capital Highway Development Group Co., Ltd. The park adopts the same transcritical CO₂ refrigeration technology used during the Winter Olympics, with temperature differences controlled within ±0.5℃ from storage to distribution.

Even more eye-catching is the park’s “dark warehouse,” a fully automated multi-tier stereoscopic warehouse operating with zero manual intervention. “Incoming goods are automatically scanned, the intelligent system plans the optimal storage location, and operations run smoothly at night without lighting, with efficiency 20% higher than traditional warehouses,” Wang revealed. In the future, the facility will also develop a pilot zone for unmanned logistics distribution, with direct access to Tianjin Port via the Beijing–Shanghai Expressway, making the “Port-to-Park Connection” even more efficient.

Beijing Suburban Railway Line Adopts Newly-Launched Turnstiles

The “Multi-Mode Integrated Ticketing Turnstile” made its debut at the CIFTIS, emerging as a highlight that empowers the development of the capital’s smart rail transit, drawing significant attention and inquiries from numerous domestic and international exhibitors and professional visitors.

This turnstile represents a major innovation achievement of Beijing Jingtou Investment Co., Ltd.’s subsidiary, Bii Transportation Technology. For a long time, the independent ticketing systems of China Railway and urban rail transit have created a “transfer barrier,” which has been a key bottleneck restricting both the efficiency of urban rail transport and the convenience of passenger travel. To address this, Bii, in collaboration with the Beijing Suburban Railway Group and the Institute of Computing Technology, Academy of Railway Sciences, has successfully developed the integrated ticketing turnstile—achieving, for the first time, an efficient and in-depth integration between the railway ticketing system and the AFC (Automatic Fare Collection) system of urban rail transit. “This turnstile supports multiple mainstream ticketing methods, including the Suburban Railway Transit Card, Mobile Transit Card, Subway QR Code, Resident ID Card, and Railway e-Card,” introduced the on-site representative of Bii. “It is not only a hardware innovation but also a reform of the operation and management model. It provides a solid technological foundation for Beijing’s vigorously advancing ‘Four-Network Integration’ strategy and is, in the truest sense, a ‘barrier breaker.’”

Currently, the innovative turnstiles have already been successfully piloted on the BMC Suburban Railway Line, the Huairou–Miyun Line, and other routes, with passenger experience significantly enhanced. In the future, with just “one card & one code,” passengers will be able to seamlessly travel between suburban railways and urban subways, enjoying the convenience of “one-code access.” This technology will soon be rapidly extended to the western extension of the BMC Suburban Railway Line, the Northeast Ring Line, and other routes, providing core equipment support for building an efficient and convenient “Capital on Rails.”

Heritage Site Park at the Ancient Government Seat of Luxian County Debuts Archaeology Blind Boxes

At the CIFTIS, the booth of the Municipal Parks Administration Center in Hall 9 of Shougang Park was particularly lively—the “Park Gift Experience Space” made its official debut, with more than 506 cultural and creative products from over 10 parks including the Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven, and Beihai Park on display. Over 20 new products premiered, alongside intelligent experiences such as AI digital avatars and MR glasses.

This year, the Heritage Site Park at the Ancient Government Seat of Luxian County made its first appearance at the CIFTIS, presenting “Tokens of Time.” These include pendant refrigerator magnets inspired by modern architecture and Han Dynasty artifacts; archaeology blind boxes containing ancient coins with surprises spanning two millennia; grain-storage keychains reflecting the Han Dynasty philosophy of “storing grain in granaries, storing blessings in vessels”; and translucent bookmarks replicating the golden rectangular ornaments of the era. Together, these creations evoke the sensation of wandering the ancient streets of Lüxian, experiencing firsthand the ingenuity of Han Dynasty artisans.

Tangrenfang Unveils 3D Customized Beijing Silk Figurines

At the “Beijing Gifts” exhibition area of the 2025 CIFTIS, Tangrenfang’s 3D personalized Beijing Silk Figurines made their debut. As a BMC-based enterprise, Tangrenfang integrates modern technology with intangible cultural heritage, infusing new vitality into the traditional craftsmanship of Beijing Silk Figurines.

The showcase attracted numerous visitors. By scanning a QR code and uploading a photo, participants could choose from over 20 ancient character models. Within minutes, they were able to view a 3D-modeled ancient doll created in their own likeness, with the option of producing it as a finished product. Reporters noted that the customized Beijing Silk Figurines were remarkably lifelike, accurately reproducing fine facial details such as the depth of nasolabial folds, while also reflecting historically accurate costumes corresponding to the selected character.

Yujiawu Xinglin Pharmaceutical Presents a Wide Range of TCM Cultural and Creative Highlights

The 2025 CIFTIS opened in grand fashion, with Yujiawu Hui Township’s Xinglin Pharmaceutical showcasing a diverse array of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) cultural and creative products, further demonstrating the remarkable achievements of BMC in the field of health and wellness to a global audience.

Located in Hall 2 of the Shougang International Convention and Exhibition Center, the Xinglin Pharmaceutical booth displayed exquisitely packaged TCM teas, finely crafted incense-bead bracelets, and unique handmade TCM specimen paintings. These deeply processed cultural creations immediately drew significant attention from both the media and the public. Chairman Wu Jiankun noted that Xinglin Pharmaceutical also participated in last year’s CIFTIS, bringing products such as medicinal mooncakes, TCM health beverages, and sachets. “This year, we are presenting a richer variety of products, including premium herbal series, sachet pendants, and TCM tea series. On the very first day of the exhibition, items such as our incense-bead bracelets, TCM teas, and herbal twist-flower creations were warmly welcomed by visitors, with many stopping by our booth to inquire and experience firsthand.”
