China's inbound tourism market has been gaining strong momentum, and the number of foreign visitors coming to China has also been on the rise, fueled by visa facilitation policies and other efforts. This summer alone, Beijing's exit-entry ports recorded around 1 million inbound and outbound trips made by foreigners, including over 290,000 inbound trips made under the visa-free entry or temporary entry permit policies. This figure accounted for nearly 60 percent of all the inbound trips made by foreigners, a proportion that marked a new high.
