Starting October 15, Line 17 [Jiahuihu–Weilaikexuechengbei (Future Science City North)] began trial runs for through-train service. During this trial period, passenger service will be available only on the existing southern section (Jiahuihu–Shilihe) and northern section (Workers' Stadium–Weilaikexuechengbei). The central section (Shilihe–Workers' Stadium) is closed for now.

During weekday evening peak periods, the departure intervals of trains on the operational sections will be shortened from eight minutes to six minutes, while the morning peak intervals will remain at six minutes.

The departure times of the first and last trains at each station have also been adjusted. On the southern section (Jiahuihu–Shilihe), the first trains will depart up to 12 minutes earlier and the last trains up to 47 minutes later. On the northern section (Workers' Stadium–Weilaikexuechengbei), the first trains will depart up to 12 minutes earlier and the last trains up to 8 minutes later.

Stations along the operational sections of Line 17 will notify passengers of relevant information via in-station announcements and notices. Passengers can also obtain real-time information on the departure times of the first and last trains through the official website, Weibo account, and WeChat account of Beijing MTR.
