The 2025 Beijing Tongzhou Canal Half Marathon is set to begin at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 9, with 15,000 runners expected to participate.
The course covers a total distance of 21.0975 kilometers. The race will start at Sikong Fenshu Street in Tongzhou District, passing through the Beijing (Tongzhou) Grand Canal Cultural Scenic Area, the Canal Business District, the three major cultural landmarks of the BMC, and the Central Green Forest Park, before finishing at the Renmin University of China (Tongzhou Campus).
As runners traverse the course, they will enjoy the unique urban landscape of Tongzhou while experiencing the district’s rich blend of ancient heritage and modern vitality.

After meticulous design and planning by the Organizing Committee, the 2025 JD Beijing Tongzhou Canal Half Marathon Finisher Medal has been officially revealed.
The medal combines the auspicious symbolism of baoxiang floral patterns with the cultural essence of the Lantern Pagoda, blending tradition and modernity to convey blessings of good fortune. It reflects the profound historical and cultural heritage of Tongzhou, a city of millennia-old charm. The front of the medal is inscribed with the phrase “Interweaving Blue and Green, Integrating Water and City,” embodying Tongzhou District’s vision of harmonizing ecological development with urban growth to create a modern, livable city.
This year’s race jersey features red as the dominant color, symbolizing passion, vitality, and the excitement of competition. The striking visual design amplifies the spirited energy of the 2025 JD Beijing Tongzhou Canal Half Marathon. The jersey is made of high-quality quick-dry fabric, offering a soft texture and comfortable fit.
