Located within the Xiaobao Art Zone of the BMC, the Songzhuang Shokai LONG Street is set to debut in the autumn of 2026. Integrating culture, commerce, and creative industries, the district will become a new micro-vacation destination in eastern Beijing, contributing to the cultural and tourism development of Tongzhou’s “Two Rivers and One Belt” economic zone.

Situated in the southern part of the Xiaobao Art Zone, Songzhuang Shokai LONG Street covers a total construction area of approximately 120,000 square meters, including 80,000 square meters of commercial space, 15,000 square meters of industrial space, and a 6,000-square-meter hotel.

By integrating mainstream commercial models with local artistic resources, the project adopts a “Art + Commerce + Micro-Vacation” development concept, positioning itself as Beijing’s destination for micro-vacation aesthetics. It will fill the commercial gap in the Tongzhou-Yanjiao Corridor, boosting the vitality of regional consumption.

The district will draw upon Songzhuang’s rich artistic ecosystem—home to over 10,000 artists, 5,000 art studios, more than 1,000 annual exhibitions, and over 20,000 art trainees—to highlight its distinctive cultural identity.

Artworks by local artists will be seamlessly integrated throughout the area, creating a “scene in every step and story in every scene” experience and transforming the space into an iconic landmark that blends visual impact with immersive engagement.

In terms of consumer experience, regional first stores will account for half of all retail tenants, featuring a curated mix of mainstream consumer brands, lifestyle boutiques, and emerging trendsetters across dining, retail, entertainment, leisure, and wellness sectors.

The district will also host a dynamic lineup of regular cultural events, including atmospheric installations, themed markets, night tours, creative salons, and community gatherings, making art, leisure, and restorative experiences part of everyday urban life—offering city dwellers a new haven for relaxation, creativity, and renewal in the BMC.
