China’s first immersive micro-scale ice show IP, "Magic on Ice · A Lucheng Journey into Ice," will debut at the Lucheng Public Fitness Center on November 29.

"Magic on Ice · A Lucheng Journey into Ice" marks a breakthrough from large-scale arenas to a micro-immersive performance mode, signifying an important step for the BMC in integrating culture and sports and innovatively utilizing Olympic legacies in the post-Winter-Olympics era.

The most notable innovation of this production is its pioneering "immersive micro-scale" format. The audience seating is placed directly on the ice surface, creating an ultra-close viewing environment “within 10 meters.” Spectators will, for the first time, experience up close the skaters’ delicate expressions, masterful techniques, and the precise moments when blades cut through the ice—offering a truly immersive encounter.

The cast is dazzling, featuring multiple Russian figure skating stars, including European Champions and Russian National Champions, performing alongside more than 10 outstanding Chinese athletes.

According to organizers, the immersive micro-scale ice show “Magic on Ice · A Lucheng Journey into Ice” will officially premiere at the Lucheng Public Fitness Center Ice Rink on November 29. As the first innovative ice-based cultural and sports project launched in the BMC, it represents not only a creative exploration of ice-art performance, but also a new highlight poised to stimulate regional cultural tourism consumption and enrich urban cultural life.

The project is presented by Beitou Sports Industry Co., Ltd., guided by Luyuan Subdistrict of Tongzhou District, and produced by Beijing YiXiang International Skating Club. Looking ahead, the organizers plan to collaborate with local ice rinks to introduce a series of public-benefit programs, aiming to transform the audience’s enthusiasm for the show into motivation for participating in ice-snow sports. The goal is to provide a one-stop journey from “watching” to “experiencing”, bringing ice-snow activities into everyday urban life.
