Two newly built schools—a middle school and an elementary school in the Cultural and Tourism Zone of Tongzhou District—are about to commence construction!
Recently, relevant websites released the “Bid Award Announcement for the New Construction Project of the Cultural and Tourism Zone Middle School and Elementary School.” Not long ago, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources issued the “Construction Project Planning Permit for the New Cultural and Tourism Zone Middle School and Elementary School.”
The new middle school project in the Cultural and Tourism Zone is located in Wenjing Subdistrict, Tongzhou District. Its boundaries are: east to Houchang West Road (Yueyi Road), south to Caoyuan South Avenue (Caoyuan South Street), west to Putou East Road (Yueyi West Road), and north to Caoyuan South Street (Caoyuan North Street). It is planned to accommodate 30 classes. The construction land area is approximately 3.54 hectares, with a total planned building area of about 28,400 square meters. Of this, the above-ground building area is approximately 24,900 square meters, and the underground building area is 3,500 square meters. Final figures shall be subject to the official construction planning permit.
The new elementary school project in the Cultural and Tourism Zone is also located in Wenjing Subdistrict, Tongzhou District. Its boundaries are: east to Putou East Road (Yueyi West Road), south to Caoyuan South Avenue (Caoyuan South Street), west to Yunjing Road (Zhenlu Lane 1), and north to Caoyuan South Street (Caoyuan North Street). It is planned to accommodate 24 classes. The construction land area is approximately 2.52 hectares, with a total planned building area of about 19,700 square meters. Of this, the above-ground building area is approximately 16,600 square meters, and the underground building area is 3,100 square meters. Final figures shall be subject to the official construction planning permit.
