Beijing's new round of traffic restrictions based on the last digits of license plate numbers will come into effect on December 29 (next Monday). From December 29, 2025 to March 29, 2026, vehicles with license plate numbers ending in certain numbers will be prohibited from running in certain areas on designated weekdays: 3 and 8 on Mondays, 4 and 9 on Tuesdays, 5 and 0 on Wednesdays, 1 and 6 on Thursdays, and 2 and 7 on Fridays (where a license plate number ends with a letter instead of a number, they will be deemed as 0).
