The winter joy of ice fun for Tongzhou residents is back once again. The Xihaizi Park Ice Rink has officially opened, featuring 2,200 square meters of safe ice surface, with unlimited play from 9:00 to 17:00 throughout the day.

The Xihaizi Ice Rink carries childhood memories shared by generations of Tongzhou residents—traditional ice sleds and ice bicycles invite visitors to relive nostalgic moments. Cartoon electric ice cars and sled-style ice vehicles keep children entertained without pause. Last year, the rink earned widespread praise from visitors for its high-quality ice surface, safe facilities, and attentive services.

This year, the rink has further optimized its operational experience and newly introduced a 75-meter extra-long ice slide. The ice slide is impressive not only for its length, but also for its smooth curves and moderate slope, striking a balance between excitement and safety, making it suitable for visitors of all age groups. The moment you slide down from the top, the wind whistles past your ears, creating the sensation of flying across the ice. It is set to become one of this winter’s most popular attractions for photo check-ins and energy release.

To ensure visitor safety and experience, the rink closely monitors weather conditions. If rising temperatures result in insufficient ice hardness, temporary closure measures will be implemented. The rink will reopen once ice conditions are restored. A Blue Sky Rescue Team is stationed on site. In the event of an accident, professional rescuers are able to respond immediately.
