On May 26, 2026, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) successfully held the "2026 International Talent Exchange Seminar" at the Beijing International Fortune Center in Tongzhou District, Beijing. The event, held in a hybrid format (online and offline), brought together scholars, education professionals, international youth representatives, and media delegates from around the world to engage in in-depth discussions on international education cooperation, global talent mobility, and cross-cultural narratives.
The seminar consisted of two main sessions. The first was a CCG Global Dialogue, which explored the latest trends and practical challenges in international education cooperation. The second was a book launch event for "Witnessing China’s Modernization", a collection of firsthand observations and research from 18 international contributors.
During the CCG Global Dialogue, Dr. Denis Simon, Chair of the Alliance of Global Talent Organizations (AGTO), provided a systematic analysis of the evolving landscape of international educational collaboration. He noted that despite a complex global environment, educational exchanges and talent cooperation remain vital bridges for mutual understanding among nations. Dr. Henry Huiyao Wang, Founder and President of CCG, emphasized in the dialogue that talent mobility is an irreversible trend of the globalization era, and that CCG has long been committed to promoting educational cooperation and youth exchanges.
At the book launch, Dr. Mabel Lu Miao, Co-Founder and Secretary-General of CCG and editor of the volume, introduced "Witnessing China’s Modernization". The book brings together 18 authors from 14 countries, including economists, anthropologists, and young scholars, who share their firsthand experiences and observations of China’s social development, improvement in living standards, infrastructure construction, and overall well-being. Several contributing authors shared their personal stories of living, working, and conducting research in China, expressing positive views on China’s open and inclusive environment.
John Zhanjie Zhao, Deputy Secretary-General of CCG, noted in his remarks that CCG will continue to build platforms for international talent dialogue and further develop programs such as the Global Young Leaders Dialogue (GYLD). He also introduced CCG’s upcoming events, including the Global Talent Summit and the China Inbound and Outbound Forum, inviting broad participation from all sectors.
The seminar demonstrated CCG’s long-term commitment and platform advantages in the fields of international talent and educational cooperation. Through diverse perspectives and pragmatic dialogue, CCG is making positive contributions to fostering global talent exchange and building an open, inclusive ecosystem for international collaboration.
